Sharing your life, the best way to live… Some things you learn in Life Group
A great office attire :)
I’ve got the best mom!

Last life group’s (a.k.a. small group) message was timely for the upcoming mother’s day. Ervie Larioque led it and asked these questions:
Warm-up: What’s one thing you’d never forget your mom did for you? (rephrased based on memory :) )
Whenever I’m sick (which happened four times just within 5 months), I’d text her, “Ma, I’m sick…” She’d reply with the predictable: “Drink lots of water, rest, take medicines, gargle ginger extract or salt.” The next days, she’d initiate texting “Are you well?”
Also, whenever she sees a dress, blouse, skirt or jeans which she thinks would look nice on me, she’d buy it for me. Even though I now live in Davao, she’d have it sent occasionally.
Application Question: What can praise can you give to your mom?
Her Godly example as a mother and wife is really praiseworthy. As a mother, she is organized at home but not the type who’s got to-do-lists, a yearly plan and fixed goals for the family. She is the type who lives one day at a time and just enjoys being around people of different walks of life. She trusts God so much for everything at all times, that’s why she’s carefree and full of joy.
It was my mom who prayed for 5 years for me that I’d become serious in my relationship with Jesus till I came to my turning point. She prayed for me through all the major decisions and my life lowest points.
She’ll always be my role model.
